11/3/2010nbsp;#0183;#32;Gasoline with ethanol (corn alcohol) added is not recommended for older outboard motors. I assume there are regulations. If there is no disclaimer sticker on the pump informing you there is up to x% ethanol, is it ethanol-free? When I get the boat on plane it will sometimes stall out. I think water in the gas will collect around the gas tank intake and sucked into the carb. Gas station sells ethanol free 91 octane for 15% more money compared to E10 87 octane.
